Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands, June 1st, 2023 – Invest Turks and Caicos and partners are delighted after completing three days of promoting the Turks and Caicos Islands at the World of Travel, Trade & Taste Expo 2023 (WTTT) at the Miami Beach Convention Center, Miami Florida, May 31st to June 2nd.

The 2023 edition of WTTT catered to tourism travel trade industry professionals, investors, food and beverage enthusiasts, and people who love exploring new destinations, cultural heritage, and experiences from around the World. Led by Invest TCI, the TCI delegation consisted of the Turks and Caicos Hotel and Tourism Association, The Department of Trade, The Department of Culture and Heritage, small businesses supported by the Department of Trade, including Provo Beverages, TCI Shellman Nikki’s Trinkets, D’s Native Gift Shop and Invest TCI’s MSME recipients Island Organics and Caicos Traditions.

WTTT was an excellent opportunity for Team TCI to present the TCI as a unified front to participants attending the EXPO and to connect with global countries from various continents, such as Africa, South America, and Asia. The three days EXPO also included seminars and conferences focusing on tourism development projects, women’s initiatives, green initiatives, and investing in green technologies.

Team TCI stood out at the EXPO and gained maximum exposure with a vibrant, colorful, and attractive pavilion that was centrally located and could be seen from various angles of the venue. The display from the TCI vendors was most impressive, showcasing multiple aspects of TCI’s culture through crafts, local food products, homemade soaps, perfumes and oils, and beautiful souvenirs made from the conch shell.

Vice President of Marketing and Promotion of Invest TCI, Trina Adams, stated, “The Turks and Caicos Islands was well represented at the WTTT. Team TCI put our best foot forward and represented the island by displaying craft, culture, food & information about the islands. I was most impressed with our local vendors and the creative displays of their products. It is evident that our local businesses have a passion for what they do, and their love for their country shines through their products and services. I look forward to more collaborative efforts to promote the Turks and Caicos Islands.”

CEO for Invest Turks and Caicos, Angela Musgrove, stated, “Invest TCI is always open to opportunities to showcase the destination to diverse audiences. Collaborative efforts such as our joint mission to WTTT allow us to showcase the destination on a massive scale. Additionally, we were happy to support the small businesses that attended the event and ensure they had an opportunity to gain the experience of attending tradeshows and networking with like-minded businesses from other countries.
