Easy Access/Location

The Turks & Caicos Islands lie 575 miles southeast of Miami, one hundred miles north of the Dominican Republic and thirty miles southeast of the Bahamas. Flying time from Miami is just ninety minutes. The Turks & Caicos Islands cover a land area of 193 square miles. The islands are surrounded by a continuous system of coral reef.

Our primary investor base enjoys easy access to the Turks and Caicos Island from either of our four designated international airports.

Modern air travel is right at home in Turks and Caicos, from international flights and Fixed Base Operator (FBO) arrivals to service between the local islands and destinations throughout the Caribbean.

The TCI has four designated international airports – Grand Turk, Providenciales, North Caicos and South Caicos – and two domestic airports, Middle Caicos and Salt Cay. There are also two private airports, Pine Cay and Ambergris Cay.

A recent major expansion at the Providenciales International Airport (PLS) improved the guest experience, while increasing the number of passengers it can handle per day. An average of 50 commercial flights land each week at PLS, with direct air service from over a dozen US and Canadian cities.

As we work on growing our source markets for both investment and tourism, we are arduously working on expanded and upgraded facilities to several airports including South Caicos, North Caicos and Grand Turk.

An expansion project is currently underway for the South Caicos airport.
