Angela Musgrove – Senior Vice President – Investor Services
Angela Musgrove, born and raised in the Turks and Caicos Islands, distinguishes herself as profoundly driven and focused; embracing the core values of integrity, excellence and selfless service. With graduate and post-graduate qualifications in Economics and Finance respectively, she is passionate about nation building. She was awarded the British Empire Medal in 2013 for her services to youth development in the TCI and is excited about her continued contribution to the development of these islands in her current role as SVP-Investor Services. This role brings a sense of pride and fulfilment, being able to promote the business opportunities available in the Turks & Caicos, attracting investment, that will ultimately improve the quality of life for the people of the Turks & Caicos Islands.
Mother, Wife, and Entrepreneur, she enjoys simple pleasures, including family time and reading. She considers her volunteer work with the youth population as one of the most rewarding ways to give back to her community as she firmly believes that you cannot build a nation without first empowering its people!
Rochelle Thompson – Investment Services Executive
Rochelle Thompson is a native of the Turks and Caicos Islands (TCI) and has three beautiful children. In 1990 she joined the Bank of Nova Scotia where she’s held several senior positions including that of a Branch Manager. In 2009 Rochelle joined a subsidiary of Cayman National Corporation as SVP, Service Delivery, where she’s worked before joining the Turks and Caicos Islands Government in 2012 as Investment Services Executive. Rochelle has worked and train in locations such as the Bahamas, Jamaica, Cayman Islands, Canada, Antiqua, Barbados, the United Kingdom and Ireland, her professional background includes Sales and Services, Finance, Compliance, Operations and Foreign Direct Investment. Rochelle is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Management Consultancy.
Justin Missick – Investment Services Executive – Aftercare
A son of the Turks and Caicos soil Justin has worked in many different capacities including as a Real Estate Associate for Prestigious Properties Ltd. In 2013 he was appointed as the youngest member of the Turks and Caicos Islands Immigration Board where he served until taking up a position as Investment Services Executive to the then Investment Unit. (Now Invest Turks and Caicos). He subscribes to the precept; Your deeds are your monuments – he aims to serve always the National Interest above self.
He is a public speaker and advocate for youth advancement and issues of national import.
Trina Adams-Smith- Vice President-Marketing and Promotion
Trina Adams-Smith has a solid marketing background with over 12 years of experience in marketing and communications. In her previous roles as Marketing Specialist and Head of Marketing at Digicel TCI, she was instrumental in the development and execution of marketing strategies to ensure revenue and market share growth, creating greater equity and visibility for the Digicel brand and exponential growth of the company’s social media and online marketing activities. Trina joined Invest Turk and Caicos in April 2015 as Vice President of Marketing and Promotion where she oversees all aspect of the company’s marketing and communications activities. She holds a Bachelors of Commerce in Entrepreneurial Management from Royal Roads University and a Masters of Business Administration from Nova Southeastern University.
Hezron Henry – Marketing Support Officer
Hezron Henry joined the Invest Turks and Caicos staff in June of 2016 as Marketing Support Officer; tasked with ensuring the marketing and operational elements of Invest TCI function effectively. He brings with him experience as Programme Officer of the TCIG Health Promotions Unit where he was responsible for programme development and management, and design and implementation of promotional resources. Hezron holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Information Systems from the University of Phoenix; a boundary-spanning field of study relating to how information and communication technologies (ICT) can be deployed to improve business processes and enhance the organisational value.
Alexa Cooper-Grant – Vice President-SME Development
Alexa Cooper-Grant is the Vice President, Small, Medium Enterprise (SME) Development at Invest Turks and Caicos, with responsibility for the Micro, Small, Medium Enterprises Programme. Prior to joining Invest TCI team, she worked in several mid-level management positions. Notable is her four years as Business License Manager in the Revenue Department in the Ministry of Finance, where she has proven to be an invaluable asset to her peers and the community at large.
Alexa holds a bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management from the Council of Community Colleges of Jamaica through the Turks & Caicos Islands Community College, and a Postgraduate Certificate from Leicester University, UK.
Oreika Selver – Legal & Compliance Officer
Oreika Selver, LL. B (Hons.), qualified Barrister & Attorney-at-Law, Member of Middle Temple Inns of Court (2007); Admitted to the Bar of England & Wales (2008) and the Turks & Caicos Bar (2009). From 2011 – 2016 she was engaged as a criminal trial attorney with the Dept. of Public Prosecutions.
Oreika has had regular speaking engagements at the local high schools and she has lectured at the TCI Community College in Hospitality and Intellectual Property Law. She is an elected member of the Turks & Caicos Bar Council (2012-2016).
Oreika was appointed Legal/Compliance Officer in May 2016
Temeka – Administrative Officer
Temeka Rigby holds the role of Administrative Officer of Invest Turks and Caicos Agency. She is a native of Bottle Creek, North Caicos, where she completed both her primary and high school education.
In 2005 Temeka was employed by TCInvest, the former Investment Agency, as Credit Assistant Officer and Receptionist.
Temeka is currently enrolled in Penn Foster College where she is pursuing an Associate Degree in Human Resource Management.
She is a wife of 18 years and a mother of three fantastic children.
Deborah Astwood – Corporate Services Manager and Accounting
Deborah Astwood a wife and mother, born in the beautiful Islands of Turks and Caicos, Grand Turk. Deborah Astwood is a Professional, Career Oriented Individual who worked in various managerial positions in areas of Business and Hospitality since 2000.
Mrs. Astwood is the holder of a Diploma in Computer Operations, A Post Graduated Certificate in Corporate Administrative Secretaryship, B.Sc. Degree in Organizational Management (Hons.) and M.Sc. Human Resources Management.
Mrs. Astwood is a member of various civic organizations, The Kiwanis and Soroptimist Club of Grand Turk. Mrs. Astwood is currently employed at Invest Turks and Caicos, as the Corporate Services Manager and Accounting since 2015.
