West Caicos

Currently Uninhabited, West Caicos is a 9 square mile island previously home to the cultivation of sisal in the 1800’s at Yankee Town. Remnants such as railroad tracks, steam engine and stone buildings remain as testament of its previous industries. Noted as being one of the Turks and Caicos’ most beautiful diving spots and home to Lake Catherine nature reserve with a host of bird life it is favourite amongst dive operators.
